Lithium-Ion Vs Lead-Acid Battery

  • More powerful & Light on weight

Compared to traditional flooded, AGM, or GEL lead-acid batteries, Impress lithium batteries are half lighter and provide up to 200% more energy.

  • Fast change & Longer cycles

Impress lithium batteries offer fast charging, typically 5 times faster than lead-acid batteries. Our rechargeable lithium-ion batteries can cycle 5,000 cycles or more, with higher discharge rates having minimal impact on cycle life. Lead-acid batteries typically only perform 300-500 cycles, as higher discharge levels significantly shorten cycle life.

  • Highly efficient

Impress lithium batteries have ultra-low resistance (up to 99% efficiency), faster charging, and minimal losses. Lead-acid batteries will quickly disconnect during discharge.

  • Longer energy

Impress lithium batteries provide 100% of their rated capacity, regardless of discharge rate. Lead-acid batteries usually provide less usable energy but at a higher discharge rate. They are usually limited to 50% of their rated capacity to prevent a shorter life.

  • Higher cost-performance

While lithium-ion batteries may be more expensive, the long-term savings are huge. Lithium-ion batteries offer higher performance and longer life than lead-acid batteries. This means fewer replacement and labor costs, as well as less downtime.
